steve ruehl with turner construction providing construction oversight. it's been three months since we last spoke. a lot has changed. see if we can get to the first slide. there we go. good news is, there were no recordable incidents, no near-miss, no sitting even first aid events in the last couple months. that is great, considering the number of craft hours. we are up over 430,000 total craft hours after demolition since the transbay center work has begun. that equates between 220 and 230 workers on site every day, five days a week. some of those are extra shifts around the clock but that is what we are averaging right now. it's a lot of people out there. they are doing a great job keeping things under control. the bse contractor, the excavation contractor doing the buttress work completed 128 buttresses through the end of august. that is, what, about 36 more than from the last time we presented. in fact, three more were completed last week, so that is actually -- one more this week, four more on top of that. they are moving along well. it was a year a

good afternoon, liz brison san francisco county transportation authority, steve asked me to recap highlights from the transportation investment strategy, approved this past may by mpc and abag. a little background on what the regional competition planning processes.something going on since sb 375 was passed, updated every four years about those regions long response petition activities they do revenue forecast.this update, 277 billion. and then they speak about how this funding should be prioritized. 91 billion is considered discretionary to the region. the rpp is quite important for two reasons. it is a sort of gatekeeperi to federal and state funds for transportation projects in san francisco might need to access. you have to be in the rtp in order to get a federal action on your project. it is also the regions policy statement about transportation. indicates where we are headed in this region. with adding context i want to recap maybe four of the highlights from the transportation investment strategy, moving towards adoption in the rtp next year. we have quite a bit to be proud of and hap

on another point i was happy to hear steve talking about the emphasis now, and the pressure on many employers who not have much of their population, or their workforce residing in san francisco and i think that is something that we can use to our advantage and talk to these businesses that have campuses outside of san francisco, up to 50 percent or above 50 percent of employees living in san francisco. what can we do to attract you here? or part of your operational headquarters, whatever is appropriate to san francisco, find out if they need a higher percentage of multi-bedroom homes, better schools, parks, intracity transportation, it directs us do what we need to do. it was instructive because i think it was some architect i was talking withand he was astounded that apple is building a new campus in a suburban setting, away from transportation. it made sense of the campus was already there, but to build a whole new campus in an area that will be hard for people to get to seem to be a strange development. that is something we can use to our advantage in the future. >> thank you very much. >>
